Description
The Toppy Web roll turning equipment range includes solutions capable of handling rolls by external gripping, with a minimum capacity of 300 kg and a maximum capacity of 1000 kg, featuring a gripping system opening range from 350 mm up to 1270 mm. These solutions provide a high level of safety for both the operator and the handled rolls.
How it works
The Toppy Web range is designed to significantly reduce operator workload, increase safety, and protect rolls during handling or improper lifting operations. These machines are designed to perform multiple tasks, including pallet changing, rotating rolls from a vertical to a horizontal position, and inserting rolls into printing machines.
All operations are simple, as the control panel positioned on the machine is highly intuitive. The operator drives the electric-powered machine towards the paper roll and then activates the two clamps to lift it from the pallet. The lifting operation is carried out using the two clamps that securely grip the roll laterally.
The operation is completely safe because the two clamps are rubber-coated. After lifting the roll from the pallet, the operator activates the rotation function to tilt the roll into the desired position. The operation ends by unloading the roll onto the new pallet or in the desired location.
