Description
The stationary pallet inverter Toppy Spider is an hybrid and advanced version of classic pallet inverters. It can exchange pallets by two modes: by tilting the load, like classic pallet inverters, and by laterally clamping the load for its lifting from the pallet for non-tilting products.
How it works
The equipment is capable of changing pallets with two different methods, depending on the product type. If there’s the need to exchange pallets to a product that cannot be tilted, the stationary pallet inverter Toppy Spider allows for lateral pressing it. When the product is laterally pressed by, the lower platform opens (controlled via push button panel) to enable the removal of the old pallet and the insertion of the new one. This method is the fastest method.
With the second method, the equipment can change pallets through tilting the product (momentarily). This involves pressing the product on four sides of the load and tilting it by 180°. Once tilted, the lower platform opens in order to allow the operator to remove the old pallet and insert the new one by forklift. When the new pallet is placed, the operator activates (via push button panel) the lower compactor that secure the product for tilting back the entire load to its initial position.
