Description
The stationary pallet changer Toppy Raptor is the upgraded version of standard pallet changers, patented by Toppy. What makes this solution one of the most advanced in the range is that it’s electricity-free, equipped with pneumatic servo assistance, integrated with a pallet storage, capable of exchanging up to 40 pallets per hour.
How it works
The pallet changing operation take place through the servo-assisted mechanical sliding of the inbound pallet (which is palletized in the pallet storage behind the machine) and the outbound pallet, positioned beneath the load (slightly lifted). The operation begins with the operator inserting the entire load into the pallet changer. Using a control panel on the equipment, the operator activates two lateral platforms that press against the sides of the load, gently securing it for lifting from the pallet. The pressure can be manually adjusted depending on the type of product.
Once the product is lifted from the pallet, the operator pushes the inbound pallet into the pallet storage, sliding it along with the outbound pallet. The sliding process is greatly simplified because the pallet changer is equipped with a servo-assisted mechanism that doesn’t require the operator to push the pallets, but allows for sliding with total autonomy and simplicity.
