The PowerScan 9600 series of 2D barcode scanners feature all the standard benefits associated with Datalogic’s portable industrial scanners and, in addition, are now equipped with industrial connectivity, allowing easy interfacing with a PC, industrial PC, tablet or PLC. There is no need for third-party devices, because the communication modules are interchangeable in the charging supports. The plug and play architecture helps maintain network integrity and is easy to configure between RS-232, USB, USB-C, Ethernet, Ethernet I/P or Profinet. Any future standards or changes to your network configuration are easy to accommodate, in just a few minutes.

The range of industrial scanners (with robust housing) PowerScan 9600 offers three different performance levels, depending on your application, with reading rates 20% higher than competing products. The Standard Range models are equipped with a single camera for capturing low-density 1D and 2D codes, from normal reading distances. For reading codes at greater distances, choose high-performance readers with a double camera. Moreover, unique in the Datalogic portfolio, is the Document Capture model that will read color images for quality control or confirmation of signatures. Like the rest of the Datalogic scanners, the 9600 series also offer a soft white light, highlighting a successful “Green Spot” for accurate reading, even of damaged or dirty barcodes
