The PD45S/PD45 printers from Honeywell run on an Arm Cortex-A7 / 800Mhz processor, 128M memory and 128M DDR3 SDRAM. They have a sophisticated industrial print head that accepts both direct thermal and thermal transfer printing modes. Honeywell’s patented dual sensor positioning technology supports a dynamic positioning function that ensures a minimum label height of 5mm and a vertical position accuracy of 0.5mm (PD45S) and 0.75mm (PD45). Two sets of adjustable pressure bars and dual support guides ensure accurate paper feeding and help prevent ribbon curling.
To enhance the user experience, Honeywell’s PD45S printer is equipped with a 3.5″ full-touch color LCD screen and 2.36″ LCD keyboard, and the PD45 printer with a 2.36″ LCD screen and keyboard LED Feed button. Due to its very ergonomic design, the print head of this printer can be easily switched and replaced. The front sensor that ensures accurate printing can also be easily removed to facilitate cleaning and replacing the rubber roller. PD45S/PD45 printers support multiple command languages such as FP/DP/IPL/ZPL/DPL and printer driver installation and Windows configuration are very easy.
